At Planetaki you can have a planet, a page where you can read all your favorite blogs, websites and photo-albums. Planetaki is Javier Cañada's personal project. It was lauched in March 2008 and soon will be the rewsreader of choice for those who don't want to mess with RSS.

It's a dynamic blogroll: a widget you can install on your blog to show the last posts written by your friends (example). t's also useful to build personalised portals (example).
Feevy is an international service, designed by Javier Cañada (graphic and interaction design) for the Sociedad de las Indias Electrónicas. At this time Feevy has more than 4500 users.

Javier Cañada was head of design at 11870.com until days before its public release. 11870.com is a social network to share opinions about companies and services.
La Coctelera
La Coctelera is the most popular blog service in Spanish Speaking countries. Part of this success is due to the extreme ease of use of its user interface. Cañada was part of the team who designed La Coctelera while he was working at The Cocktail.
Training 6 interaction designers
In April 2007 Programa Vostok started a course in which 5 young professionals were trained to become interaction designers. The course was a success and we are repeating in 2008. For 5 months students learn aspects related to usability, HCI, interaction design and user research. It's all conducted with no hurries and with a very personalized attention to each of the students.
Fujitsu Europe LTD
Fujitsu Europe LTD hired Javier Cañada and Marco van Hout to research how senior users (older than 50) perceived and interacted with some prototypes of mobile phones. The project involved both rational-cognitive and emotional aspects appliying user centered design techniques.
